Kyle Yeates

Kyle Yeates is an experienced engineer with expertise in mechanical and opto-mechanical engineering, holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and multiple Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and BioEngineering from the University of Washington. Over the years, Kyle has held various positions, including Research/Test Engineer at the VA Center for Limb Loss and Mobility, where innovative gait-measurement methods and a mechatronic prosthesis were developed. At Apple, contributions were made to iPod product design, focusing on mechanical elements and reliability testing. Kyle also served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Clarisonic, optimizing beauty device components, and as a Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Facebook Reality Labs, engaging in next-generation hardware research. Currently, Kyle is employed as an Opto Mechanical Engineer at Meta, continuing to leverage extensive experience in both research and product development across diverse industries.
