Laura L.

Laura L. has a solid background in software engineering with experience at major technology companies, including Meta, Twitter, Google, and Microsoft. At Meta, since August 2025, Laura has been involved in developing the FB Feed Social AI, while earlier roles included building an anomaly detection service for Twitter's backend metrics, and creating interactive features for Google’s desktop search platform. Additionally, Laura worked at Microsoft on a VPN plugin for Networking Copilot. Prior to these roles, Laura contributed to a stealth startup focused on innovative battery technology from September 2023 to October 2025. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University and completed high school with a focus on Materials Engineering at Phillips Academy.
