Lei Chen is a software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning infrastructure, particularly with a focus on recommendation systems and GPU technologies. Currently employed at Meta since April 2020 as a team lead for GPU ranking infrastructure, Lei Chen has previously held positions at Lyft, where implementation of a new real-time OLAP solution occurred, and at Google, with contributions to BigQuery storage and data management. Prior experience also includes senior roles at Microsoft, focusing on web ranking and distributed systems, as well as internships at Baidu and Renren, where foundational skills in e-commerce search and clustering algorithms were developed. Lei Chen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University.
