Lengning Liu

Lengning Liu has extensive experience in software development and architecture, having held various senior and principal SDE positions at Microsoft from March 2010 to August 2011, where responsibilities included backend performance and scalability, data unification, and AI framework integration. Key projects involved the development of the Microsoft Solver Foundation, implementation of streaming pipelines using Apache Storm and Kafka, and telemetry monitoring for the Microsoft Universal Store, achieving significant performance improvements. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Meta since November 2021, Lengning Liu holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky, a Master’s degree from the Chinese Academy of Science, and a Bachelor’s degree from Jilin University.
