Liangyuan Chen

Liangyuan (Circle) Chen is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Data Science with a GPA of 3.982. Experience includes serving as a Google Summer of Code Open Source Developer with the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative, multiple teaching assistant roles in computer science courses at UC Berkeley, and a current position as a Software Engineer at Meta focusing on storage infrastructure. Research contributions include work at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research group on dialogue analysis and participation in diverse projects such as Project CETI and D-Lab. Liangyuan has also demonstrated leadership as a Principal Investigator for China Thinks Big, leading a team to develop a customizable sign language translation glove.
