Lin Jin is a Research Scientist at Meta from June 2021 to April 2025, focusing on Anti-Scraping efforts for logged-out traffic by designing and implementing a comprehensive scraping mitigation system, which includes scraping risk assessment, real-time detection of malicious traffic, and friction impact measurement. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer exploring the GenAI Safety domain and an internship as a Paranoids Product Security Intern at Verizon Media in summer 2019. Lin Jin holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Xidian University and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware.
