Lin Qi

Research Scientist

Lin Qi is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in biomedical research and data science. Lin served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Cornell University, focusing on myotube regeneration and micro perfusion device fabrication, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Washington, where Lin contributed to designing and fabricating collagen-based biomedical devices. Currently, Lin works at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Graduate Research Assistant, developing machine learning algorithms to monitor respiratory flow and alert medical professionals to anomalies. In addition, Lin has held roles at Meta as both a Machine Learning Engineer and a Research Scientist. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Data Science, along with a Master's of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Master's of Science in Biomedical Data Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lin also earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Washington.
