Lindsay Bayham is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology at UC Berkeley, focusing on social networks, development, and informal economic exchanges in Ghana, currently engaged in research in Accra as a Fulbright-Hays Fellow with the US Department of Education. Previously, Lindsay worked as a User Experience Researcher on Facebook’s Internet and Community Growth team, utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the relationship between user social networks and platform experiences. Additional experience includes a Fulbright Fellowship conducting research with Young People We Care, and internships with The Institute for International Education and The Carter Center. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Global Health from Duke University and a Master of Arts in Sociology from UC Berkeley.
