Lu Lu, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of optics and materials science, beginning as a Research Assistant at the Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University from August 2007 to August 2012. Following this, Lu worked at PPG Industries as a Research Scientist focused on Liquid Crystal Polymer Coating from August 2012 to March 2014 and subsequently advanced to Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer in Display Optics until November 2015. Lu then joined Facebook, taking on multiple roles including R&D Manager, Display Engineer, and Optical Scientist from March 2016 to March 2017. Currently, Lu serves within Meta's Reality Labs as part of the Technology Incubator since November 2015.
