Luca Mefisto is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the immersive technologies sector. Currently employed at Meta since January 2021, Luca focuses on developing InteractionSDK. As the Director of MEFISTOFILES LTD since June 2016, Luca collaborates with leading clients in the Virtual/Augmented Reality space and creates innovative XR projects that push technological and conceptual boundaries. Additionally, Luca serves as an XR teacher at UXER SCHOOL, instructing UX professionals in rapid prototyping techniques, and previously taught at Future Artists, where teams developed VR ideas through hackathon-style events. Prior to these roles, Luca was a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Hidden Creative Limited, leading early XR technology adoption and managing over 50 projects for significant military and energy corporations.
