Luca Venturi

Luca Venturi is a Senior Research Scientist at Meta, focusing on Instagram Growth and Ranking, with previous experience in the Instagram Recommendation System. Venturi has held various roles including Software Engineer Intern at Instagram, Data Science Intern at Nokia Bell Labs, and Data Scientist - Student Fellow at Bloomberg Associates. Academic contributions include teaching positions at NYU Center for Data Science and Università di Pavia, alongside research roles at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and SISSA. Venturi holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from New York University, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, both with honors from Università degli Studi di Trieste and Università di Pavia, respectively. Notable research efforts include developing algorithms for complex mathematical problems and contributing to the machine learning domain.
