Lya Mun is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Anthropology. Lya has participated in various research and internship roles, including serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher focusing on self-supervised learning for multimodal time-series signals and as a Research Assistant developing a vision-based system for non-invasive cattle identification. Lya also gained experience as a Software Research Engineer at Quve17, analyzing neural network algorithms for dental applications, and is currently an incoming Software Engineer Intern at Meta for Summer 2026.
