Mackenzie Lockhart

Mackenzie Lockhart possesses extensive academic and research experience in political science and psychology. From September 2017 to June 2023, Mackenzie served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego, instructing courses such as Intro to American Politics and the Presidency, while also conducting doctoral research focused on electoral polarization and the influence of local news on Congressional elections. Prior to this role, Mackenzie worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia from July 2014 to February 2015. Following doctoral studies, Mackenzie currently holds positions as a Quantitative UX Researcher at Meta and as a Democratic Innovations Fellow at Yale University. Mackenzie's educational background includes degrees from the University of California San Diego, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Durham.
