MacKenzie Pierson

Mackenzie Pierson, PhD, CSCS, is a skilled UX Researcher currently employed at Meta since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Smart Behaviors Researcher at Piaggio Fast Forward and holding various roles at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, including Treasurer of the Graduate Student Association and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. Additional teaching experience includes an Adjunct Professorship at Salem College and a Graduate Assistant position at California State University, Long Beach. Mackenzie also contributed as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Northeastern University and gained early experience as a coach at North Iowa Fire. Academically, Mackenzie obtained a PhD in Applied Neuromechanics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and multiple master's degrees in related fields from California State University, Long Beach, and Northeastern University, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Sport Psychology from Luther College.
