Manami Mondal

Manami Mondal has a diverse range of experience in software engineering and research. During an internship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in summer 2022, Manami focused on programming languages and software engineering, receiving recognition for the Narendra Summer Internship sponsored by Microsoft Research India. Subsequent internships included roles at Meta as a Software Engineer, and positions at Microsoft and the German Electron Synchrotron DESY. Manami also gained experience in machine learning applied to bioelectromagnetics at the University of Salento and worked on product development at Narrato. Currently, Manami holds the position of Software Engineer at Mercari, Inc., having previously interned at Uber. Manami is pursuing a B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, expected to graduate in 2024.
