Mandar Parab

Mandar Parab is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with a robust background in developing advanced algorithms and solutions across various industries. Currently at Meta as a Machine Learning Engineer since June 2024, Mandar previously held the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Levi Strauss & Co., where production-level inference code was designed for apparel order forecasting. Prior experience includes a Senior Machine Learning Engineer role at Epic for Kids, focusing on enhancing recommendation systems through the integration of diverse technologies. Mandar started as an AI Scientist at NIO, where innovative end-to-end Behavior Models were created, alongside user-friendly APIs for simulation environments. A research stint at Penn State University involved developing a deep learning solution for ankle fracture detection from X-RAY images. Mandar holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, University of Mumbai.
