Marcus Schaffer, MSEE, is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in facilities electrical engineering and transmission planning. Marcus began a career at Intel Corporation as a power systems intern, where expertise was gained in performing Arc Flash studies and electrical distribution system components. Following this, extensive experience was accumulated at ERCOT, where responsibilities included conducting annual Regional Transmission Plans and Long Term System Assessments. Marcus transitioned to Meta in 2017, serving as a Datacenter electrical design engineer, focusing on scalable electrical designs for North American datacenters. Education includes a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
