Marisa Hamsik

Marisa Hamsik has extensive experience in strategy, market insights, and sustainability across multiple sectors, including telecommunications, energy, and environmental management. Starting as an Account Manager at The Hoffman Agency, Marisa progressed to leadership roles, including General Manager at Chevron New Energies, where oversight of carbon markets and emerging technologies took precedence. Other significant positions include Director of the Natural Climate Initiative at The Nature Conservancy, where Marisa launched initiatives for nature-based climate solutions, and leadership roles at BP, Baker Hughes, and New Forests Pty Ltd, focusing on water strategy, climate finance, and sustainability. Marisa holds degrees in Environmental Management from UNSW and Journalism and Political Science from Northwestern University, accompanied by a background in Corporate Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
