Mark Lee has a diverse background in artificial intelligence and software engineering, with experience from prestigious institutions and companies. As a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science in early 2018, Mark supported the Practical Data Science course. Following this, a role as a Software Engineer at Uber Advanced Technologies Group from September 2019 to January 2021 involved building core components of a remote machine learning inference system, enhancing perception and prediction models, and improving backend services. Mark then joined Apple in January 2021 as a Research Engineer, playing a pivotal role in the Foundation Models team and leading the development of AXLearn. Currently, Mark serves as an AI Research Scientist at Meta's Superintelligence Lab since July 2025.
