Mathias Moelgaard

Mathias Moelgaard is a Data Scientist at Meta, working within the Reality Lab to focus on marketing decision science, machine learning insights, and experimentation related to creator content. Previously, Mathias served as a Data Analyst at Microsoft from August 2021 to May 2024, leading off-shore teams on data science and engineering projects, particularly for Microsoft Xbox Experimentation. In a subsequent role as Data Analyst III at DoorDash from May 2024 to September 2025, responsibilities included building ETL data pipelines and maintaining financial and engagement reports. Mathias has also contributed to academia as a Program Ambassador and Learning Assistant for the Master of Data Science program at UC Irvine, where a Master of Science degree was earned in Data Science. Additional experience includes tutoring in mathematics and computer science. Mathias holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
