Matt Deitke is an accomplished AI researcher currently employed at Meta since July 2025. Prior to this role, Matt co-founded Vercept from November 2024 to July 2025, and worked in AI research and engineering at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2) from September 2019 to October 2024. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science obtained from the University of Washington in June 2023, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the same field, expected to be completed in November 2024.
