Matt Jansen is a seasoned professional in the field of network architecture and engineering, with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Jansen began a career at Cable&Wireless Worldwide, where roles included Peering Manager AS1273, Senior Network Engineer, Principal Engineer, and participation in the Trainee Program from October 2008 to March 2013. Following that, a brief tenure as Peering Manager AS1273 took place at Vodafone from April 2013 to July 2013. Jansen later excelled as a Senior Network Architect at Akamai Technologies from August 2013 to December 2015. Since January 2016, Jansen has served as the Lead for Edge Strategy - APAC at Meta. Jansen holds a BSc in Information Technology from The Open University and a Dipl. Ing. (BA) in Information Technology from Berufsakademie Heidenheim, complemented by a course in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
