Matthew Denny

Matthew Denny is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Meta in the Central Applied Science team, where they have been contributing since 2019. Before this, they were an NSF Big Data Social Science IGERT Fellow at Penn State University from 2015 to 2019 and a consultant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2012 to 2015. Matthew also held roles as a Data Scientist at Skopos Labs, Inc. since 2017 and as an Operations Crew Supervisor at UMass Housing Services from 2008 to 2012. They hold a Ph.D. in Political Science and Social Data Analytics from Penn State University, along with a Master's degree in Political Science and a Master's in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
