Max Kalmann is the Associate General Counsel for Facebook Metaverse and Competition Product at Meta, where they provide strategic product and competition counsel for social media on the world's next computing platform. Previously, Max served as an Associate at White & Case LLP, representing various tech companies and other organizations in complex litigation and regulatory matters, with a focus on antitrust issues. They completed a legal internship with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials, providing advice on international criminal law, and have held legal roles with the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Army JAG Corps. Max earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2014.
