Maxim Lakin

Maxim Lakin is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since April 2024, with prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at The Funding Floor, where Maxim focused on unstructured information retrieval in FinTech PDF documents and developed custom OCR for scanned documents. Previous positions include building a multi-agent control system at Kelvin, developing a reinforcement learning battle bot at AIorDie.tv, and creating a sensor fusion backend at Upward Farms. Maxim's academic background includes a BS in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and experience as a Physics PhD student collaborating with organizations such as the LIGO Collaboration and the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics.
