Maxime Bourgeois

Maxime Bourgeois is an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and product development. As co-founder and lead engineer at SevenSixteen LLC, Maxime led new product initiatives and was responsible for mechanical designs and prototyping. At Meta, Maxime serves as lead mechanical DVE, focusing on design validation and risk analysis for mixed-reality head-mounted display programs. Prior roles include hardware engineer at Microsoft, where Maxime led augmented reality hardware calibration efforts, technician at RIT Tech Crew, and manufacturing engineering assistant at The Siemon Company, where Maxime designed tools for automated manufacturing. Maxime has also held leadership positions at Rochester Institute of Technology, including vice president and director of finance for the Residence Halls Association. Maxime holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
