Megan Farwell, PhD, possesses extensive experience in human services and social research with a strong focus on community impact and philanthropy. Megan served as a Human Services Analyst and Human Services Grant Coordinator for the City of Bellevue, Washington, from July 2010 to February 2019. Following this, Megan worked as a Research Fellow at the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2016 to August 2020 and held the position of Researcher for the Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society in early 2021. Additionally, Megan contributed as an Evaluation Consultant and later as Director of Learning and Analytics and Sr. Manager of Impact and Community Investment at United Way of Snohomish County between 2016 and 2020. Currently, Megan is a UX Researcher focused on Social Impact at Meta since February 2022. Educationally, Megan holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSW from the University of Washington School of Social Work, an MPA from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington, and a BA from Western Washington University.
