Mehdi Moradi

Mehdi Moradi is a highly experienced data scientist and academic currently serving as a Senior Staff Data Scientist at Meta and an Associate Professor at McMaster University. Previously, Mehdi held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Google and managed the Machine Learning Department for AI in Medical Image Analysis at IBM. With a solid foundation in research, Mehdi has also worked as a Research Staff Member at The University of British Columbia and as an Assistant Professor in its Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Earlier roles include research positions at Harvard Medical School and The University of British Columbia, along with editorial leadership in the biomedical field. Mehdi holds a PhD in Biomedical Computing from Queen's University, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
