Staff Research Engineer

Mengxin Li has a robust background in software engineering and research, with extensive experience in the fields of computer vision and immersive technology. Mengxin Li began the career at NVIDIA as a Software Engineer focused on autonomous driving and also held a software intern position. Subsequently, Mengxin Li advanced at Microsoft, working as a Software Engineer II and later as a Senior Software Engineer in HoloLens Scene Understanding. Following this, Mengxin Li contributed to Apple as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer for Apple Vision Pro before joining Meta in June 2024 as a Staff Research Engineer at Reality Labs Research. Mengxin Li holds a Master’s degree in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
