Michael Gerdes has extensive experience in operations and program management across multiple industries, including technology and healthcare. Starting as a Production Manager and Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronic from 1993 to 2000, Michael progressed to roles such as Sr. Manager of Operations & Quality Assurance at Symmetricom and Director of Operations at Spectracom Corporation. Michael's tenure at Microsoft from 2011 to 2018 included positions as Sr. NPI Program Manager and Azure Compute HW & VW Sizes Product Manager. Currently, Michael serves as Operations Program Manager for AR Product Operations at Meta since March 2020. Michael holds an MBA in Operations & Manufacturing Management from Seattle University and a BS in Bio-Medical/Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, complemented by a BA in Engineering/Physics from Westmont College.
