Michael Hu

Michael (Xinyu) Hu is a Senior Software Engineer at Meta, focusing on Instagram ads since September 2024. Previously, Michael contributed to Google from September 2018 to March 2020 in various roles, including software engineer and senior software engineer, developing core algorithms for Google Fi, implementing machine learning ranking systems, and enhancing Google Play's backend infrastructure. Michael began a career in software development as an intern at Amazon, working on the Kindle reader for Android in 2017. Academically, Michael holds a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University, with a perfect 4.0 GPA, and possesses Bachelor's degrees in Computer Software Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, achieving GPAs of 3.50 and 3.96, respectively.
