Michael Khbeis

Michael Khbeis has extensive experience in the field of microelectronics and operations management. From October 2011 to October 2017, Michael served as Associate Director at the UW Washington Nanofabrication Facility, where responsibilities included managing cleanroom operations, planning expansions, and consulting on design and process integration. Following this role, Michael became the Director of a newly renovated ISO Class 5 cleanroom facility, overseeing operations and business development, with a focus on supporting R&D and prototyping for both academic and industrial clients. Prior to these positions, Michael was the Division Chief of Microelectronics Integration at the National Security Agency from September 2001 to September 2011, leading research and development in advanced microelectronics technologies. Currently, Michael holds the position of Director of Operations at Meta since January 2019. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington and a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field from the University of Maryland College Park.
