Michael Michaelides is a software engineer with a strong background in network diagnostics and web development. At Cisco from February 2022 to February 2025, Michael contributed to the Machine Reasoning Engine team, focusing on algorithm development for STP loop identification and troubleshooting. Prior experience includes a software engineer/network technical intern role at AT&T vyatta, where involvement in developing the Vyatta vRouter network OS took place, along with experience in Docker containers. Additionally, Michael has worked as a web developer during university and completed a cyber security internship at Meta, which began in February 2025. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh, graduating with first-class honors, and has also participated in the Cisco Engineer Incubator Student Program and Cisco Networking Academy.
