Michael Scheer

Michael Scheer is a versatile professional with experience in both film production and software engineering. With a background that includes roles such as production assistant and grip on various film projects, Michael transitioned into software roles, notably serving as a full stack software engineer at Meta from May 2021 to the present, where substantial contributions were made to enterprise engineering teams. Michael's film industry experience encompasses visual effects supervision, color grading, and editing, with responsibilities as head of post-production and deliverables at Assembly Line Entertainment, as well as colorist roles for multiple feature films. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego, alongside ongoing software engineering studies at App Academy.
