Michael Tapp is an experienced live stream director and A/V technician with a strong background in camera operation and video editing. Currently serving as the Live Stream Director and A/V Tech at The New York Public Library, Michael manages and mixes live audio for events while ensuring high-quality sound. Additional roles include camera operator positions at various organizations, including B Live, Meta, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Crossfire Sound Productions, and Panavid Inc. Michael has also collaborated with Ralph Lauren and Sociality Squared as a camera operator and video editor. Notably, Michael directed the livestream for the National Book Foundation's 5 Under 35 event in 2025. Michael holds a degree in Media Arts with a focus on Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Pellissippi State Community College.
