Mike Guibas

Mike Guibas is an experienced professional with a diverse background in military and corporate leadership. Mike served in the US Navy from May 2011 to July 2018 as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, where rapid promotions led to roles including Staff Training Officer and Shift Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of 100 personnel within the Naval Nuclear Power Program. Following military service, Mike joined Meta, initially focusing on Global Data Center Facilities Operations and later on Strategy & Operations Excellence, playing a key role in supporting growth and operational strategies across global teams. Currently, Mike is involved in Demand Optimization within Global Operations at Meta, as well as serving as a Franchise Co-Owner and Business Development Manager for Parlor Doughnuts. Mike’s educational background includes a certification in Nuclear Power Technology, a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Duke University, a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
