Mike Winters

Mike Winters is an experienced researcher specializing in sonification, Brain-Computer Interfaces, and AI. With positions at notable organizations such as Microsoft, where extensive work involved physiologically adaptive VR training and EEG technology, Mike contributed to multidisciplinary collaborations across public and private sectors. Previous roles included designing sonifications for a medical device at HopLabs, conducting accessibility research at Microsoft, and leading research initiatives at the Kinsey Institute and Georgia Tech Research Institute. Academically, Mike holds a Ph.D. in Music Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology, and both a Master's degree from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster.
