Ming Hong

Ming Hong is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in engineering and research. Currently, Ming serves as a Data Scientist at Meta since October 2024. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at One Concern from August 2021 to September 2024, and Structural Engineer and Researcher at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) from January 2019 to August 2021. During a brief tenure as a Structural Engineering Intern with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP from June 2018 to September 2018, Ming gained valuable insights into structural engineering. Ming's academic background includes a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Stanford University (2017-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2013-2017), where an undergraduate research assistantship was completed from March 2014 to May 2016.
