Ming Xia is an experienced UX researcher with a strong background in the gaming industry. Starting as a Playtest Moderator at Microsoft from May 2005 to January 2007, Ming contributed to usability testing for gaming studios. This role transitioned to UX Researcher positions at Monolith Productions and Warner Brothers Games between June 2007 and April 2010, focusing on user experience studies. Ming further advanced as Senior Global Insights Manager at Blizzard Entertainment from June 2015 to August 2021, driving business decisions through insights on the gaming audience and competitive landscape. A Principal Insights Strategist role at Zillow from August 2021 to August 2022 involved leading research to support a business model pivot, before transitioning to Senior Researcher at Netflix from August 2022 to September 2023, conducting research on player engagement and churn.
