Ming Zhong

Marketing Data Scientist

Ming Zhong is currently serving as a Marketing Data Scientist at Meta since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ming held significant positions at Uber, including Head of B2B and Regional Marketing Analytics and Data Science Manager II from October 2018 to June 2022. Ming's experience also includes working as a Senior Data Scientist at Shell from November 2015 to September 2018, where advanced analytic methods were utilized to address business challenges. At Baker Hughes, from June 2012 to October 2015, Ming provided executive summaries on oil and gas well data and conducted statistical analysis to support operations. Earlier roles include serving as Principal Statistician at Capital One, Research Statistician at Abbott Laboratories, and a summer intern at Abbott Laboratories, contributing to oncology trials and a specific Kaletra study. Ming holds a PhD in Statistics and an MS in Physics from Texas A&M University, as well as a BS in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
