Minjae Lee

Minjae Lee is a Research Scientist at Meta, with a tenure beginning in October 2018. Prior to this role, Minjae worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance from July 2016 to August 2018, specializing in machine learning, recommendation systems, predictive analysis, natural language processing, and computer vision. Minjae also served as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, from August 2012 to May 2016, teaching linear algebra, differential equations, and multivariate calculus to undergraduate students. Minjae holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2016, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, summa cum laude, from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, earned in 2008, and a High School Diploma from the Korean Science Academy from 2006.
