Miriam Eckert

Miriam Eckert possesses extensive experience in linguistic project management, having held key positions in various organizations including Appen Butler Hill, Inc., J.D. Power and Associates, Cerence Inc., and Nuance Communications, where roles such as Senior Linguistic Project Manager and Data Team Manager were undertaken. Academic contributions include a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania and a Research Associate position at the University of Colorado Boulder. Miriam Eckert holds a PhD and an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. Currently, Miriam Eckert serves as a Linguistic Engineering Manager at Meta, focusing on AI feature expansion within the Reality Labs group, while also working as an Independent Consultant for the NSF AI Institute for Student-AI Teaming.
