Misha Bilenko

Misha Bilenko currently serves as the VP of Engineering and Research at Meta's Superintelligence Labs, focusing on advancements in assistant technologies. Prior to this role, Misha held the position of VP of Applied Research at Google DeepMind, contributing to the Product Impact Unit for Astra. At Microsoft, Misha garnered extensive experience as Corporate Vice President of Microsoft GenAI, leading the development of the Phi model family, and overseeing Azure AI divisions responsible for AI services and collaborations with OpenAI. Misha previously served as Senior Vice President for AI and Smart Devices at Yandex, launching successful AI products such as the Alice assistant. Earlier career experiences include key research roles at Microsoft and internships at Google and IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Misha holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
