Mo Khaleel

Mo Khaleel is a skilled machine learning engineer with extensive experience in various roles across notable organizations. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at MathWorks from December 2021 to January 2025, Mo contributed to the MATLAB AI Assisted Coding project, enhancing user productivity through Generative AI models. Prior to this, Mo served as an intern at Meta, developing multi-domain learning models to optimize ad recommendations, and held positions at Iowa State University, where research focused on Explainable AI methods for safety in autonomous systems. Mo's early experience includes internships in software engineering that improved deep learning applications in OCR and information extraction. Mo holds a PhD in Computer Science from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
