Mohamed (Mo) Elbashir is a seasoned IT and telecommunications professional with extensive experience in both academic and regulatory environments. As the IT & Systems Director at Open University of Sudan, Mohamed established an eLearning system for 100,000 students and directed significant technical efforts at various organizations, including the Supreme Council of Information & Communications Technology in Qatar, where a country-wide regulatory framework was architected. Mohamed has contributed to global Internet governance as Co-Chair of the IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group at ICANN and currently serves as Infra Risk Manager at Meta, assessing global regulatory issues.
