Mohammad Amini

Mohammad Amini is an experienced engineering professional with expertise in biomedical engineering, data science, and machine learning. Beginning a career as a Biomedical Engineer at Enreach Designs, Mohammad contributed to the development of low-cost prosthetics to enhance the quality of life for above-elbow amputees. Following this, experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at various organizations, including Vancouver General Hospital and eTreatMD, where significant machine learning models were developed. At Microsoft, Mohammad ascended to the role of Team Lead - Senior Data & Applied Scientist, successfully leading initiatives that greatly enhanced content recommendation systems. Additionally, as a Data Scientist Instructor at Great Learning, mentorship was provided to over 35 industry professionals. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Current employment as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta continues to build upon a solid foundation in engineering and data science.
