Muhammad Abushaqra is a seasoned professional specializing in policy development and strategic advisory roles, currently serving as the Global Policy Lead for the Dangerous Organizations and Individuals Pillar at Meta since August 2020. Prior to this role, Muhammad worked as a Content Policy Manager at UNDP, where strategic policy advice on Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) was provided to the National Coordinator at the Prime Minister’s Office of Lebanon. With additional experience as a Policy and Research Advisor at the Hariri Foundation and various roles in policy coordination and management, Muhammad has a robust background in addressing complex issues related to governance, social accountability, and online extremism. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po and an L.L.B. in Public Law from Alexandria University.
