Nan Chen

Nan Chen has extensive experience in material science and engineering, having held positions at several prestigious organizations. At Philips Lumileds from September 2015 to May 2017, Nan Chen served as Competency Leader and Material Scientist, focusing on LED packaging, plastic molding, and coating while leading the material development and application team. Following this, from May 2017 to September 2021, Nan Chen worked as a Senior Panel Process Engineer at Apple, concentrating on new sensing and display technology and vendor process development. Currently, since September 2021, Nan Chen is a Process Engineer at Meta. Additionally, from February 2013 to August 2015, Nan Chen was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, leading projects involving polymer electrolytes and organic device encapsulation, with proficiency in various material characterization techniques. Nan Chen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Tufts University.
