Nand Jha

Nand Jha is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Instagram Graph Engineering at Meta since April 2018, where Nand leads teams focused on Graph Products, Ranking, Retrieval, and Infrastructure to enhance user growth by fostering healthy connections on the platform. Prior to this role, Nand worked at Walmart eCommerce from April 2016 to March 2018 as a Senior Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer, overseeing a team dedicated to item recommendations and Facebook Ad campaigns. Nand's earlier experience includes a position as a Software Developer at Amazon Lab126 in 2015-2016, where Nand implemented personalization strategies for customer support, as well as roles at Broadcom and Texas Instruments, where Nand contributed as a Senior Staff member and Design Automation Engineer, respectively. Nand holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
