Nate Pickslay

Nate Pickslay is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a strong background in product development, embedded systems, and educational support. Notable experience includes roles at Tonal, where Nate led board and sub-system level product development, and Made In Space, Inc., where Nate developed electronic hardware for various R&D programs and managed avionics for a zero-gravity optical fiber manufacturing device. Nate's expertise encompasses mixed-signal design, regulatory compliance, and interactive educational techniques, demonstrated through positions as a Logic Design Learning Assistant and a Discrete Math Tutor at UCSC Learning Support Services. Currently, Nate applies engineering expertise at Meta's Reality Labs focused on AR/VR technologies. Educational credentials include an Associate's degree in Engineering from Santa Barbara City College and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
